Nageshwar Temple, Dwarka

Nageshwar, tenth of the twelve, stands between Gomati Dwarka and Bet Dwarka in Gujarat — Shiva as Lord of Serpents, who delivered the devotee Supriya from the demon Daruka in the surrounding Darukavana. Worship here wears the snake as ornament and conqueror of poison — of every kind.
