Indopedia respects its readers. This page describes, plainly, what data this site handles.

For readers

Reading Indopedia requires no account and no personal information. Like every website, our server records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested), used only for security and kept briefly. Indopedia runs no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. We do not sell or share any data.

For contributors

Contributor accounts are created by the editors. We store the username, e-mail address and edit history needed to run the wiki, and use them for nothing else. Cookies are set only when you log in, to keep your session.

Third parties

Some historical images are served from the Wikimedia Commons archive; when a page shows such an image, your browser requests it from Wikimedia's servers under their privacy terms.
